Meditations
Your place of solitude... stillness... silence...
|
It is only in the silence of the stillness that we can hear the whisperings of our soul. If you are wanting to feel a greater sense of inner peace and connection with your Higher Self and Soul wisdom, the following meditation will help take you there. Feel free to record it so that you can simply close your eyes and allow the words to guide you. Before you begin... You might like to develop a ritual around your relaxation process. Lighting a candle or burning essential oils will signal your mind that it is time to relax and cease the mental chatter. Find a comfortable space to sit. If possible, it helps to ground and centre your energy by having your feet flat on the floor, your back supported in an upright position, and your hands resting gently, palms facing downward on the tops of your thighs. |

Virtual Temple Meditation
1. To begin, close your eyes and take a few deep relaxing breaths ... in ... and out ... in ... and out ... With each breath bring your centre of awareness into your body.
2. Using your mind's eye, gently scan your body from the top of your head all the way down through to your toes, noticing if there is any heavy, dense or ‘negative’ energy or sensations, issues or resistance anywhere in your body. If there are any, imagine drawing this energy into the area of your heart space in the centre of your chest, forming it into a ball of energy there. Continue doing this until all the heavy energy from throughout your entire body has been gathered into the heart area into the one ball of energy.
3. Now imagine there are two beautiful doors that open out from your heart space. Open the doors now and invite all of the heavy energy to flow out through the doors with your breath. As it leaves your body, imagine it streaming out in ribbons of white light, breathing it out with every breath. Allow the energy to flow out from you in the streams of white light for as long as is needed. Once all the energy has flowed out and your heart area feels cleared, invite the doors to gently close.
4. Now ask that you connect with your Soul. Call upon the energy of your Soul and imagine this connection flowing down into your heart space to connect with you there. Imagine your Soul's energy filling your heart area.
5. Now invite the energy of your Soul to expand out beyond your heart area to flow into all areas of your body. Imagine it expanding down through your torso into your hips and legs right down to your feet, up through your shoulders towards the crown of your head, out through the front, back and sides of your body.
6. Now imagine this energy flowing up through the crown of your head connecting up into the heavens into the source of universal energy. See yourself connected with that beautiful infinite source of pure loving energy that flows from the heavens or Source or God (or whatever concept or name you relate to), and feel it flowing down into your body, filling up your entire being.
7. Now that you are fully connected with your Soul and with Source Consciousness, ask if there is anything that spirit wants you to know. If you have any questions or would like to request some assistance with any area of life, now is a wonderful time to make your request known.
8. Now bring your awareness back into your heart space and imagine this higher energy coming back down into your body. Slowly shrink the energy down so it is simply filling your body with the energy, but not extending out beyond your body.
9. Take a few deep breaths as you give thanks for what you have experienced. Sit in the energy of gratitude for as long as you so desire, bathing in this beautiful loving energy and enjoy its radiance.
When you feel ready to complete the meditation, take in a few deep breaths, slowly becoming aware of your surroundings, calling all your energy and awareness into your body and into the present moment. Give your fingers and toes a bit of a wriggle and gently stretch your arms and legs. Open your eyes when you feel fully grounded in your body, and be sure to have a drink of water before you go about the rest of your day.
